Sports and Play Areas

Various types of mats we supply are used for different applications in sport and the playground
depending on the design of the project.

Granular Shock-Absorbant Mats
These are mostly used as a shock-absorbing flooring for exterior playgrounds or play areas. Because
of new regulations all schools, community and public establishments require the use of a shock-
absorbent base in playgrounds. Our tiles comply with the highest standard (EU TUV-certificate EN
1177) and are ideally suited for this purpose.

Hollow Rubber Mats
Our hollow rubber matting is also suitable for outside recreation areas. This mat is simply laid on top
of existing turf and allows grass to grow through and be mown, producing a soft cushioned matting
that is soon hidden from sight. The mats can also be laid using weed suppressing membrane and
gravel chippings to provide non-slip wheelchair access to gardens etc.

'Soft-Fall' Mats
We offer a range of soft foam mats in EVA used for Yoga, Pilates, Judo, Karate etc and as general
purpose soft area matting for children and adults. The mats are available in bright colours and are
light-weight and easily transportable.

Solid Rubber Mats
Various sports use solid rubber matting, which can be supplied printed as in the case of Darts mats,
with distance markings and company logos.
